Mellor are another band who obviously missed the memo about guitar music being dead, as they bring their La’s-like jangle of finely crafted songs to The Monarch on June 25th to launch their debut single. We’re hoping they’ll appear in colour.

2011 was a phenomenal first year for Mellor, headlining a slot for BBC Introducing and packing out Reading’s Oakford Social Club after just one gig. 2012 is just onwards and upwards.
