Audio Bullys Paint The Monarch Red

Posted March 26, 2010

If you go down to The Monarch on Sunday 28th March you’ll be sure for a big surprise. To celebrate the launch of their new album ‘Higher Than The Eiffel’ Audio Bullys will be covering the roof of the Monarch in graffiti. Yes, graffiti.

From 2pm the band will paint the artwork live, install it on the roof and play an exclusive DJ set.  As they’re returning from a 5 year hiatus we’re sure it’ll be extra special.

And as it’s Sunday why not head down for lunch first? Meat, veg, gravy AND a selection of some of the UK best breaks, hip-hop, punk, garage and house mixed with clever beats and samples.

What more could you want?

Adam Ant at The Monarch

Adam Ant performed played at The Monarch last Sunday. Following on from a performance at Southwark Playhouse the previous evening, Adam performed Prime Mover alongside Zodiac Mindwarp’s Love Reaction band. Adam was also called to the stage by headliners Metalworks for a version of Born to Be Wild. Watch the video below. It’s charming.
